Former Brazilian Finance Minister spoke at the February luncheon meeting.

The former Finance Minister of Brazil, Zelia Cardoso de Mello, was the guest speaker of Brazilian Business Group (BBG) at the business luncheon meeting on February 16th at City Fish Market Restaurant in Boca Raton, FL. She spoke about the “Overview and Challenges in the World Economy”.

With a Ph.D from São Paulo University, Zelia Cardoso de Mello is an economist and was Finance Minister of Brazil from 1990 to 1991. She has worked in the academic, public, and private sectors, and has broad experience in Brazilian and international economic affairs.
