O Painel de Negócios do Focus 2012, organizado pelo Brazilian Business Group / BBG, em cooperação com a Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, abordou o tema "Parceria Brasil-Florida: Perspectivas, Oportunidades e Desafios" e constituiu-se em grande sucesso, tendo atraído aproximadamente 120 espectadores, em sua maior parte empresários norte-americanos e brasileiros, entre 9 e 12 horas do dia 3 de maio no Broward Center for the Performing Arts em Fort Lauderdale.

O Embaixador Hélio Vitor Ramos Filho foi o convidado especial do tradicional almoço mensal de negócios do Brazilian Business Group (BBG) realizado no dia 19 de abril no restaurante City Fish Market em Boca Raton, FL. Na ocasião o embaixador falou sobre a estrutura do Consulado Geral do Brasil em Miami e respondeu a perguntas dos membros e convidados do BBG. O embaixador solicitou e o BBG aceitou, organizar e administrar outro censo, mais amplo, dos brasileiros vivendo no sul da Flórida.

We just entered into an agreement with SCORE / Broward (www.score.org), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and assistance in the development of businesses and entrepreneurs in the region. Through the program we will jointly implement workshops, presentations and one to one interviews seeking the improvement of our business community in general. The services offered by SCORE are free or at low cost.BBG Wants To Hear From You!
With the objective of providing information and inviting discussion of matters of interest to the Brazilian business community in the U.S., BBG has included an open forum on its website inviting participation from the community.
